Ana and Maria suffered from pelvic prolapse, which is often called a “fallen womb”. Caused by damage related to childbirth, weakness to the pelvic support allows the pelvic organs to fall. Pain and disability follow.

Kimberly is a bright and energetic woman who suffered her whole life. From the first time that she can remember, Kimberly has leaked urine. While many women suffer from this problem at an older age, it is rare to encounter in children after toilet training age. Yet, this is all Kimberly has ever known.

Often in remote villages with little access to obstretical care, a young, terrified women tries to harness the strength to bear the pain of a failed pregnancy. She and her family brave this and try to seek help. They usually start the long walk to the nearest medical help.
